SACRED OFFERINGS
Create Beautiful Backgrounds
for Stenciled “Offerings”
Use them as wall hangings, book pages, or stand-alone works of art.
Originally this workshop was filmed live on Facebook and now it is available here! In my website classroom, you will find two videos of approximately one and a half hours each and the supply list.
If you love or want to explore printmaking on a Gelli plate and want a new and meaningful way to use my new stencil designs this will be a wonderful class for you!
With me as your guide, you will create textured and colored papers that you can use to hang in a window or on a line, or simply keep as stand-alone works of art or as pages for your books. Each will have a special meaning that is uniquely you.
Because I am filming them live on Facebook, it will seem like I am really there next to you, teaching you in person, unedited and unscripted!
SPEND THE AFTERNOON WITH ME
And
NOURISH YOUR ART SPIRIT!

TAKE PIECES OF PLAIN DELI PAPER
AND GIVE THEM A NEW LIFE
AS SACRED OFFERINGS.
Supplies
Gelli plate (mine is 8"x10")
Deli paper (link on my website and on the previous announcement) My deli paper is about 8"x10", but I think the link I provided is a bit bigger. That will be fine!
Ink pads (I use mostly black) permanent
Brayer (mine is older, if you have to buy one find one that is cheap, even a sponge one)
Pan pastels and something to apply them (these are a tool I love, but they are spendy so you might want to see how they work before you buy them!) I will be using Pan pastels for stenciling.
Stencils (a link to mine are on my website and also my previous announcement, but substitutions are fine)
Acrylic paints, colors you love! I am using some Golden Transparent Hi-flow paints and assorted other kinds.
Matte medium I use Golden or Liquetex, Matte!!
Old wider paint brush to apply the matte medium
Water, paper towels, wipes
Black china marker or black paint and small paint brush for painting words
Paint brush or small spatula to apply paint to the Gelli plate
I may add permanent white ink pads and colored inks to the list but they will be optional!
